Another Great Dive Day

Another great day of diving with Dive Makai. I really don't do this kind of thing enough, even though I live on the next island over. Gotta fix that.

We were at a site called Pipe Dreams today, near Keahole Point, the western-most point on the island. There's often too much current or surge to dive there, but it's always great when we can do it. There's a huge old pipe left by the Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawaii that has all kinds of life encrusted on it. You never know what you'll see. I shot this Wire Coral Goby just inside.

Our second dive was at a site loosely named the Washrock, not far from Pipe Dreams. There was an abundance of nudibranchs and this lovely turtle, who was feeding on the coral when we found it and was kind enough to let me get a few shots.

Tomorrow is our last dive day and an "Adventure Day", where we go offshore and see what we can see (hopefully big stuff) and do three tanks if we can. We've seen dolphins, pilot whales and sharks on previous Adventure Days. I'll be set up for wide angle.

Aloha...
